dunno, they've been sat there for years! Theres a Tempo Matador in an orchard on Kos :)

  9. Yes and yes.
Pretoria to be precise but we'll be hanging around Jo'Burg as well. :)
S-I-L lives there at the moment. He's the one in the picture up there ^^^.
Was genuinely thinking about buying two whilst there, containering them and shipping them back. It'd probably pay for the flights!

  13. Also a bit of repair to the front deformation panel which was surprisingly robust, given the state of the rest of it.

A bit of primer just to stop it rusting until I get round to painting it properly.

  14. Noticed the toothbrush is that part of a mechanics toolbox?:D

    Love a good commercial resto...

  15. Toothbrushes are really useful.
    Poking into holes.
Holding electrical parts when they're live.
    Plug cleaning.
    Electrical connection cleaning.
Toilet cleaning (that'll be the ex-wife's one then)

  16. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

I've got some 80% phosphoric acid that I scrub on stuff with the toothbrush - like that Marmite repro front arch that went rusty while I went out for a sandwhich and the welds etc. Magic stuff, but nasty, nasty, nasty strong and needs copious washing down and drying. The ugly defo panel repair was a quickie after I thought I'd finished. Put up some of the neat stuff!
