  2. It seeming to be more than an expeption to the rule nowadays

I do like a good clean and tidy engine bay:thumbsup:

  3. :) it pleases me looking at it now! Need to install my engine bay lighting so I can look at it (slash fix it) in the dark!

You'd still be crouched in the back. I've done a few and it's no fun at all, so many corners and awkward to get at bits...

  9. Cheers Lofty. No not first time.....see my post in mech and tech (Engine in but no fuel to carb) but it now runs. I need to do a number of adjustments now before I take it out again.

  10. looks great, I'm stripping and cleaning my engine at the moment.......hope it turns out as nice as yours :)

  11. Bit of an update following some of my running issues after putting the engine back in. The van is now running well

I fitted my stereo headunit from scratch which was pretty easy, now need to find some speakers!

  13. The floor is covered in underseal and dirt so the next step for me is to get scraping and stripping and put it in primer. Please can the weather get better!!!

My heart sunk a bit when I found the floor covered in underseal as I thought I'd dealt with that for a good while after removing it from the engine bay.

  14. Good work Matt. What are the pipes behind the seats for?

  15. There not nice finds at all dude:eek:

  16. That is a good question.....it comes out into the front wheelarch by the tyre. Anyone got any ideas as to what it's use might be?

I thought it could have been a toilet  (grim thought!)

Anyone have a spare bulkhead so I can repair it?!

  17. Vent for the gas fridge ?

  18. looks well ,with all the right parts too..

Loving the engine bay. I do like a tidy bay. But what happened to the bulkhead?? Did they trim it down with an axe??

And I'm liking the toilet plumbing

  20. I think an axe was the most likely tool. Or maybe a chain saw...
