1975 HOODRIDE camper

  1. Hello all,

I picked this up last weekend. Most of it is as it was bought, I've added the clutch and brake pedal covers, German flag coloured flowers, 8 ball gear knob, gear lever extention and a new flamethrower coil. Enjoy all the photos! I'll let them do the talking.

  12. I'm glad people are liking the van.
Always a little worried when you have something a bit different how it'll be received.

The "Hoodride" thing I believe is an American way of saying "rat look". I've not researched it, somebody may be able to shed more light on it. I like the style its done in on the van, looks better in real life then the pictures do it credit.

Having so much fun driving it around and we're going to Bus Freeze in a few weeks time.

    Cheers!

  14. Like it chap, very cool!

  15. Oh right, interesting.

I've just a quick google and had a look at the site. A lot of cool dubs that look purposely rusted, I think to be a real Hoodride I need to be a lot lower. But its a nice ride as it is, so I'll probablt leave it.

    ;D

  16. One thing's for sure. It's different. And there's nothing wrong with that.

  17. Lovely stuff!!!!

  18. Very cool 8)

how do you stop your engine from over heating with no seals? Surely the cool air vents in and the blows straight back :headscratch2:

  19. ... and a nice 'Rocco in the back ground too! O0
