Lid now in place, just struggling to get the damn thing shut with the new seal in there too! (...yes the seal is on the floor in this pic) Its amazing how bad a photo I can take! ;D
8) bus mate. have you got the engine lid shutting ok? I saw alot of bays in Cairo running with the engine lids open and beech buggies (beetle conversions) dont have a cool side enclosure, But I agree its best to run it how VW intended.
LOL! Oh I see, don't worry they're hidden within the front lights, and I have indicator bulbs on the dash in front of the tankard cup holders. I've given up for the day, I'll tweak it more in the weekend. ;D
Balls to it! I think I need a need lock plate for inside the bay, looking at pictures of other engine bays mine looks to high up. So this is my temporary fix! : ;D

Yeah should do, I have other choice really as a former owner put the early style Front on. Its going to need some creative welding a think though. ;D
