Sorry about that guys, i really did think we get it sorted, but i was wrong, and i know its daft, but i get really nervous about meeting new people daft hey, I have got break down cover, took out that offer from RAC £29, plus got breakdown with Adrian Flux, good job really considering i am driving to Rainworth tonight for a party, b my luck to break down on way past flumer or rufford in forest hahahahahaha,
if it breaks down tonight my offer will or course drop due to ongoing fault, sundays offer will be £7....any less and Jokers Gallon of Petrol may be your cheapest bet.
Take it for a drive then call the breakdown company out hun they may manage to fix it at the side of the road for you
Thats what i was thinking, taking it for a drive then phoning RAC or the Adrian Flux rescue peeps, but then i thought is that really a good idea hahaha
Well i have decided to take Cookie to the local Garage, because he still isnt right, and i dare not drive him far from family looool, and i feel as tho i am doing more damage than good having to re-start him at every junction or stop i have to take to get places, Will be dripping him in either today or tomorrow see what they say
Good luck Just make sure you tell them you want to be kept up to date on work costs... I'd hate for you to end up with a big garage bill!!
Well dropped him yesterday morning 8.45am and no phone call, dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing hahahaha, see today
just phoneed this morning and i could hear him running but guy still cant find problem, asked if i needed him bk, i said no so he's still tinkering.
It's going to be something silly and cheap Dinky. I can vouch for Paul if he's down your way again. Not that you know me either.
Electrical gremlins can be a right git to track down sometimes!! I had a customer ring me about their van (a few years ago now) the horn kept going off every time they turned left (or right, was a while ago now) with the indicators on... They'd been away for the weekend, and the horn decided to stay permanently on after coming off a roundabout... so I did my usual of chucking some tools in the car and went round for a look see After much head scratching, and being upside down on the drivers seat looking at the wires under the dash, I found the problem almost by accident... A good friend, had given them a campervan key ring, which she'd hung on the indicator stalk (early style metal stalk with the black plastic end) The key ring was causing the earth feed in the indicator stalk to earth the steering column via one of the clamping screws, which, in-turn, made the horn sound (horn button earths the horn circuit, thus sounding the horn) Took off the key ring.. problem fixed... who would've thought
