Well done mate. Was it split or loose then?

You need to keep the valve that was between the two bits of pipe and put it back the right way round. The next bit looks metal? If it it I'd assume it's ok. There will be another flexible piece nr the front though if this doesn't sort it.

  4. Yep kept all the bits, just got to get the new pipe today and get it put back fingers crossed, other bit seems okies, so find out tonight when my friend finished work.

That pipe took off was brittle and a right mess. :(

OMG bag of trouble, hahahaha what have i let myself in for. loooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  15. have you tried just kampers?

failing that you could try giving brickwerks a call, or VW themselves...

  16. you still trying to sort that heap out? Burn it I say...

    :)

  17. I'm running a bit of rubber pipe from Halfords on my brake servo line, been ok for 6 months :) You can even get 90 degree elbow fittings in that sort of size pipe off ebay to save trying to bend the rubber pipe and it going flat.

You need vacuum pipe Dinky - it has strong walls so it won't collapse on itself. If you have a hydraulic hose supplier nearby they'd have something. I have some you could have had but it won't bend for where you need it. Heritage sell Vac hose but it costs. What they want £20 for my local supplier charges £2 and throws in the clips. Check your yellow pages?
