If all the ignition items are at their best and you have a good spark etc, fuel lines are clean and there is a good supply of fuel coming out of it post pump and the filter clean then I'd be looking to replace the carb.
the ignition switch is a really really common problem on them, they are around 8 quid, i would be almost certain that would be your problem http://www.justkampers.com/shop/ignition-switch-white-nylon-push-on-wires-j10171.html
This isn't a "fix it" but a kind of bodge that I've once used to get home in the past with an old car from France. Remove the ignition feed at the coil and tape it up. With a fused wire run from the battery + to the coil, get the bus started and see how it runs. Don't forget to switch the engine off this way it won't stop on the ignition key so you'll have to stop the engine by removing the live feed wire.
i prefer the beating it with a stick, burning it at the stake and burying the ashes option. Its the only thing that is really fair to it
electronic ignition, make sure your coil connections are correct and i would change that coil lead too
Just my 2 penneth worth, check the LT connections on the coil as I have known of the terminals to get loose, simple tap with a punch to sort it out if they are pressed fit or replace the coil if it is really old. If they terminals are fixed on with nuts, remove and clean thoroughly.
if its going dead with no igntion etc, then its not fuel related. try the new ignition switch or run a feed from the battery straight to the coil as suggested, my mates t25 used to cut out back fire miss fire low on power and it was the igntion switch, they take about 5 mins to change too
I think the guys are trying to point out that you appear to have a 12V connector sitting on a bare metal oil cooler. If the connectors not insulated, you'll have no ignition supply.
