Then I got bored with the inside so I decided to sort out my exhausts. Bought these tail pipes at Volksworld after one of mine fell out somewhere down the A3!!

  3. Ps - I flipping hate underseal. Why would you use it INSIDE???!!

Also what do you think about the rear lights? I''m not sure I like em and might try dark lenses or go back to stock.

  4. Keep at it mate. My interior looked a bit like yours when I stripped it out - it comes together pretty quick once you uncover all the PO horrors and can get it put straight. The fun bit is when you get it all together again.

  5. Cheers mate, I've been following your resto too. Looks really good :)

  6. some outrageous bodges there!! o_O keep the pics coming :D

that pipe that goes to the wheelarch... does it have a slight downward angle? becuase if that was me.. funnel + hose onto the pipe = instant toilet. haha

  7. Nails that's a new one on me lol , I've used under seal on some repairs in side to keep them wax oiled but not the hole floor , I don't know why but it looks like your lights are upside down to me I could be wrong as its been that long since I've had rear lights on my bus lol

  8. That's what I thought! I removed it yesterday and threw it in the bin.

The lights are the right way around I think.....the indicators are meant to be on the top right?

  9. Yes they are lol just looked odd to me but like I say I've not seen mine for ages as I just see he holes :)

  10. Underseal inside is just odd, though the repair with nails is a strange one too.

P.S. I love the look of those lights. Was planning on getting a set my my westy.

  11. I have to say I like the rear light clusters, but that's because I've got the same ones on my bus. Clear indicators all round for me. Try photoshopping that picture with darker lights before you go and buy some, see if you like it first.

  12. Lights look fab, there's a set in my watching on fleabay. I'm just waiting for Mrs Robo to sell some more junk so I can pinch the money from Paypal :D Do you think she will notice :D

Great work on your bus by the way

  13. In our household it seems like i sell the stuff and my missus steals the cash from paypal. Nice to see the roles reversed. :D

  14. Making some good progress :) I find the worst bit is finding all the rust. Once you've found it and cut it out, I find the repairs go quickly

  15. So after hours and hours of removing underseal from inside the cargo floor, I have only removed about 60%.

I got bored with that so switched to the cutting disc on my angle grinder which was much more fun.

  16. Had some time this weekend and decided to investigate some of the electrical gremlins with the lights to get ready for the MOT in June.

First off was the headlight which didn't work - reason was a dodgy fuse which was replaced and now it works.

Second was the brake lights - traced to a broken/faulty switch as when the wires were shorted at the switch the lights worked - new switch ordered.

Third was the faulty windscreen washer which again was dodgy wiring. Fixed it up and now it works fine.

All in it was a nice weekend in the sun sorting some of the smaller jobs on the list. I also managed toreplace the rear light units with better ones and also fit a new rear hatch seal. Time to get it welded this week I recon :)
