No, but seen one in operation. Does give you extra control via your phone but it costs nearly as much as the heater. Some functions are questionable like switching off the heater and restarting at set temperature, by the time the heater has gone through the cool down and heat up process it has missed its temperature along with the extra draw current of the glow plug from the battery, it is not an instantaneous process like a Propex. Doesn't really add anything to tuning it is only the same information you can already get from the heater and use yourself particularly if you have the red remote control. Apart from the extra timers handy if it is a daily driver and you want to preheat the van every day. Does have a nice interface and if you like a phone in your mush all the time I can't see much benefit apart from the timers.
Yes I agree on price I make it £90 when a normal lcd controler is 10 - 15 but that said my Lcd has gone dark not dark enough for for me not to use it but dark its only 2 month old
The early black LCD fade, the later blue/red/gold controllers don't suffer the same problem and dim down whilst you are not using the controller. Combined with the red remote which diplays the same information.

Yep, but the message is to try and not die by using a CO detector etc regardless of the heater. Just so happens this is, allegedly, one of the recent Chinese ones
Got a B3 in Goran. 3kw petrol fired Eber! It's an absolute beast and was dealer fitted on supply back in 1990. It's just been removed because it scares me! I had it serviced and a new plug, pump, filter etc, and within 5 minutes you're in your pants but....
In theory, there should be nowt wrong with the older ones, if they've been inspected and serviced. I'd be tempted to check (or change) the overheat stats etc, but it is the heat exchanger that needs a good looking over.
