holy cow that is some dedication and quality work and it looked so good in the before picture! good work, hats off to you
Thats a good improvement dude Bus panels are a nightmare to fill and get properly flat but its worth the effort in the end
i dont feel soo bad looking at mine now. where did you get all the panels from? also what have you used to seal the panels once replaced, the pinky stuff? the end is in sight for you!
Once this ones finished you better get another project otherwise im going to miss the work of an attention to detail master and i may drop out and become a bodger
After prepping all week I am finally ready to lay on some primer to the offside tomorrow. It's been a nightmare getting the side panels straight which I am still not completely happy with, but I've got to draw the line somewhere and need to get the paint applied before the weather turns. Roped my Dad into help with the prep work yesterday more pic's to follow
Only just caught up with this one. Makes me feel a bit humble - the amount of dedication to keep going to the standards that you obviously set yourself. Will be looking forward to the paint going on.
i used the spot weld pinn machine to get the dents out , BUT no matter how much you do it you still havea lot of filling to get it level , owen nw time well spent
I ended up filling and sanding mine I wish there was less filler but saying that I put loads on the sand half of it off again . Took me bloody Ages and there still not the best
Looks spot on to me mate , you get the joy of flating back all that primer now. I would say the peel is from the paint being to thick but I'm no expert unless your roller painting it lol What's your top coat colour ?
its looks great when ye flatten down the panel , go up and down it with a pencil and mark and where ye think would need a bit of stoppering reprime flatten again and put a coat of the colour you are doing it , this will give ye an idea of how good your work will be reflatten this ready for top coats keep up the good work owen nw
