  1. Got the engine back in. up and running; sounds brilliant again and running on 4 cylinders. hands scraped to bits after fitting the foam seal down the back of the fan housing. Bring on the summer.:D
     
  2. Put twin turboes on engine then nitrous oxide , arms killing and cant grip now still drink a pint though" LOL, putting some nice T2 alloys on in next few days

    i will post up pics as and when i do a bit Lofty , but it will be a slow process as i have so many other things to sort , i have to make the whole thing more round from sills to gutter next - and then start the slow process of carving out the panels , doors etc
     
  5. That's why I've bought a trailer! The combined TBR alcohol consumption would take a T2 well overweight!

  6. You could use this method to hollow out the engine bay. And if you get carried away just say you forgot to replace the fuel lines, for that authentic touch. :D

  8. Got the under-dash shelf back in - the plastic one. I'd taken it out to allow the garage better access when installing the new wiring loom. Mounted the washer bottle more securely in the cab and filled it with screenwash.

    Looking good!! Can't beat a bit of powder coating and paint :cool:

    but i did get a delivery... some nicely machined stainless steel bolts to plug the lambda sensor ports in my exhaust!

    I made a spacer at work for the new spare wheel to go on the front..all will be revealed on friday :D

    Monday: fitted new outer cv joint
    Tuesday: Starter solenoid sticks on, checked wiring etc, ran out of time...
    Today: gonna remove starter motor and hopefully fix it
    Dammit! i wanna drive my bus!!;)
     
  17. Just been out and put the battery on charge !
     
  18. Took it for its first MOT in 9 years and passed :D I hadn't done up one of the track rod ball joints and head lights needed adjusting but they did it for me and that was it. Flipping well chuffed :D

    Just changed the headlight bulbs to uprated ones, swapped my old front indicator lenses for nice new matching ones, then washed and waxed.
    I hate it when I find those little rust bubbles :(
