    Replaced offside year old GSF/Lobro CV boots with the VW genuine ones which have a use by date of November 2021
    Part code prefix is 235 so obviously not originally for T2.

    Took 1 hour 20 mins including chewing and replacing two bolts while torqueing them up.

    My stock of not so chewed CV bolts is running low.

    I've quite a few if any body needs some plse pm if you need some ..hex and torx..have backing plate washers as well !!!!

    Picked up my van from the garage. New fuel pump, carbs fixed, oil change, filter etc £600 :eek: but hopefully all fine again now. To be fair I’ve spent v little since I’ve had the van and it probably serves me right for bragging how fab it is :)

    As garage not 100% certain on causes as it seemed ok but not ok I may feel inclined to look at extinguisher stuff for engine bay, until I forget;)

    Big thanks to @davidoft for supplying a replacement speedo ... not only does it work with a one piece needle but the odometer works too :)

    Just replaced the old headlights and dim bowls on the LT and upgraded the bulbs from those big old round ones to the newer H4's. Much better light now.

    All VW golf fittings btw.
