Fingers crossed though no negative waves

  14. I think brandishing a shotgun would have more effect than sending positive vibes ;)...

  15. Never seen one with the centre snapped off before . Usually get cracks starting in the hole corners.

  16. To be honest snotty I’ve got so much on my plate since my daughter got battered
It’s hard to chase my engine about but I do from time to time

Sometimes I think I only keep my van so it forces me to come on here and virtually be around people

I spent so many years spiralling on a negative
I have to try and spin things as positive as possible or pretend to be an ostrich
I don’t like it but if it gets me through......

  17. Although we have only met virtually I have enjoyed your posts so much. You seem to have had more than your fair share of troubles and may think you are slipping under but I assure you that your posts show clearly that you are still able to hold on to what is good and healthy in this world. That in the end is what gets us all through.
You are a lovely man. Keep battling,

That will be fatigue from vibration or incorrectly fitted with wavy washer etc. The torque setting is quite scary high when you do it up.. I needed a rattle gun on mine too... wouldnt recommend accidentally hitting your finger with the fan while the rattle gun spins it either....
I would then check the generator bearings for any wobble and replace them if needed.

Looked in my camper van log book and noted that it only took me a month total from wrecking my engine to completing rebuilding and fitting a replacement engine 25000 miles back in 2015.

Took it shopping and to buy more petrol and get some oil from Halfords after a week of non use.

Did an oil and filter change. Changed spark plugs. Checked compression. No 1 a bit down at 80 psi instead of 100... but not dead yet. Checked gearbox oil level.. OK . Painted a couple of rusty bits. Called it a day so I can prepare for a Halloween barbeque a bit later.

Snipped these out from some ventilation duct tape to use as headlight deflectors "pending" a trip to the continent.
Just as well I have some spots fitted otherwise I wouldn't see doodleysquat.
