Made two shelves inside the (very thin) westy wardrobe.
Now we can use it without rummaging through a great pile of stuff crammed in there.

  2. Grrr I've just drained the transmission oil for the first time today and just learned that the 2L I bought to replace it isn't enough. Off to Halfords I go....

  3. 3L later and a test drive doesn't show any significant improvement. At least it's peace of mind that another job has been done.

  4. 3.5 litres ;)

  5. Yes I read 3.5 but at 3 it started seeping out of the fill hole. Must have been a residual half a litre left in there despite a very long coffee break to allow it to drain.
I will check level again tomorrow when it's cold and top up if necessary.

  6. I only managed to get 3 into mine, but that was enough.

Wheeler Dealers said to warm the engine and cycle through the gears to make sure there are no air bubbles.

I can't admit to doing this myself when I squeezed 3L in mine :)

Made a removable shelf to protect the Propex under the rock 'n' roll bed; I can get all the junk that used to live there back in now, barring the levelling chocks.
Not too shabby, even if I say so myself :)

Finally sorted the indicator self cancelling doings which has been on the waiting list for over three years.
So no more faffing indicating on busy roundabouts or when overtaking on motorways..?
    So pleased...:)

Fitted a small coil and amplifier circuit to pick up the signal from the magnets I glued into the old aluminium crank pulley.
Got two groups of six timing pulses as expected. Now I need to first wire it to the engine bay computer to measure the timing. Then to write the software to read it, then to map it and fire a coil pack.

And repaired the lid of the fridge that fell off at Techenders.

  12. Fitted a new klaxon horn

  15. PS Hope you're going to paint your flatbed ;)...

  16. Definitely not ! It's going to stay as is, in original paint with scuffs and dents . 44 yrs of work and it tells a story ............ which is on going

Put the new fridge in. Had to make a surround up as the new fridge is smaller than the old fridge, thankfully I had a bit of wood left over from when we made the interior, just added a bit of varnish
