plan of attack pop top / dashboard and then glass ... all the bolts and nuts I bagged and labeled so carefully now seem to have managed to jumble themselves up a bit !!!

Seemed to have previously missed this, some nice repairs gone into it, and it looks good painted.

Putting it back together is the fun bit!

 

rear windows in not too bad 2 hrs watched a bug video on u tube got some good hints .. dash in place and all rubber seals in ;; started on the westey louvered windows ..

Bit of a nightmare day but worked out ok in the end ... Fitting the sliding door looked like a clash with the window seam I replaced 6 months ago. Looks like I welded it a bit of low and was clashing with the top of the runner body !!!! ? Bit of scraping of paint, few hammer blows and ashamed to admit it trimmed a bit of the body of the runner wheel and it fitted fine !





fitted car door handset, work fine but chrome a bit scruffy ? any suggestion for re chroming small parts ?

I'm pleased to see how nice your paint job looks.............as mine is away for paint at present, to be finished in Pearl White over Mouse Grey.
Maybe we can start a grey bus thread!
