    What would be cool was a bbq that folds down from the front of the bus

    If you made it the same dimensions of a bus wheel and tyre then when it was fastend flat against the bus you could put a cover over it and it would look like a spare wheel

    I used to have a 2slider with a bench seat up front - the spare went underneath

    This is the rear of my van - the wheel sits left as it does but the bed will not go past it ???

    Damn this spare wheel stuff. Played with the placement of mine and I'm sold on it NOT being on the front. I now also get the licence plate on the front panel where l think they look best :)

    I did some investigating today and l can tell you a Mk3 Golf GTi wheel will not fit.

    Something wrong with your seat then Malc. It was designed to be used with the spare in the back. Mine didn't hit the wheel.

    This is just confusing , i have never had a full width westy r n r bed before but it all seems as it should , i mean the units fit in the floor plates , the bed fits on the hinges in the time worn marks but that bed will not go past the spare wheel ??.

    ignore that -- just worked it out , i think - post later ;)

    Use the spare wheel as a pillow, or tie the mrs underneath & put it on the passenger seat, with a hat on it. :)
