    Those side bars look great i was worried they may have looked over the top on a bay
    They look subtle enough but still purposefull:D
    Did you use box section for the mounts?
     
  7. I did... it's only 20mm to go down the centre of the JP tho...


    Had a bit of a cutting session on the windscreen area today!!

    I like the way you cut cleanly and butt the weld up in nice little patches, tidy work there mate.

    No really when I was doing my resto I was cutting out and grinding and a chap came in to weld, each time I cut out a nice neat patch he suggested I replaced the whole panel, I wished I could weld and save myself some money but I couldn't. I will try and learn and that is the way I would like to repair things, by keeping as much og steel as poss.
