  3. I was only joking dude
it took me so long to find the perfect green it was one of the hardest desicions about the build

Was that underslung lpg tank usuable paul
Im drawing out some ideas for the interior and the design will depend upon if i have the underslung tank or an indoor bottle

  4. I'd be tempted to say they are junk... They have heavy corrosion under the welded on safety tags!! So ideally they'd need xraying to say yay or nay

  5. Ok cheers paul

Some buses, Danburys? have a hole in the floor with a box built in the depth of the chassis for gas bottles. The box has a few holes for drop out and the bottles consequently take up less space. A bit like your heater installation. If you had a removeable drawer above you could use this gained space and still remove the bottles. Got me thinking now, I already have a hole through the bottom of the cupboard.

I could have a cutlery drawer above mine - I do need one. That's a good cheap thing for my winter list. :)

Make sure you miss the top hats. I think mine might be in line with an I support. :( And a handbrake cable conduit. :( :(

  11. My gas bottle is approx 24 cm in diameter
Do you have any idea on the size of spacing between the top hat edges

Sorry no, I'm wondering the same. It looks like the first I beam is slap bang under the middle of my gas bottle, but I could move mine further back in the cupboard if it was lower.

  13. I'll have a measure up tomorrow... where abouts are we looking at setting a box in?

  14. Got a little bit done today... had to get a new clutch into my car and do some shopping

Having a shrinker/stretcher makes doing bit like this a lot neater than doing loads of little cut pieces!!

You'd like a spot welder Paul. Great for the bits like that window surround.

  16. I've got one Steve... I only use it for certain jobs as it's quite bulky :)

Heavy buggers! I do a bunch ignoring the duty cycle then have a rest. lol
I have the timer as well which allows you to keep the pressure on for that half a second while it cools. It annoyed me until I realised the benifit.

  18. Great stuff paul:thumbsup:

After all the recent updates on my bus im pretty sure no one will be interested in the germination of my veg:gnome:

  19. Dont worry about it paul you have enough to do as it is

If i do it it will be further down the line as its just ideas at the moment
Im going to run with the interior bits i have and re visit at a later date
