Got the front bumper painted today: and the grill. Due to the temperature its taking the paint a little longer than it should to dry.
She has her face back on (and some French spotlights). Engine given a wee service too ready for Eskdale Dubfest.
The silver one on the firewall to the left of the engine? I asked my dad to make me a split charge system and thats what he came up with. Total overkill, but it shows which batteries are connected, allows you to just charge the driving battery and shows the charge state of each battery. I would have been fine with a large ampage relay. The one on the fanhousing is the luminition ignition amplifier.
Finally managed to get the garage doors on today before the rain came down. Leaves me with this much space at the front: and about 5-6" at the back.
Did a couple of repairs to my replacement rear hatch. Pretty solid though has had a few repairs brazed in which are a bit tatty.
Got the inside of the rear hatch painted white today while the weather was good. Took the rear glass out of the old hatch. No wonder it leaked like a sieve.
My rear hatch was like that on the fish looked fine until I got the seal out, and there was no metal left on the outer part of the panel
Got the outside of the rear hatch painted today. Its actually lighter than the blue on the old hatch even though its from the same can. All 3 blues are from the same can. This one: Fitted a new seal to the rear window aswell.
