@Geordie if you want to sell this vehicle you need to give some details of the vehicle, the work that has been etc etc I'll happily write the advert for you, but need some details to base it on Work done how long you have had it upholstered by What sort of interior The more info the better stick it up here or pm me No one is going to drop 26K on a one line vehicle description and some photos that need rotating!
Paul has a point. If I didn't know better I'd think it was an advert posted by a complete chancer. You want top top dollar. The effort you put in needs to reflect that.
@Geordie if its an auction end it and relist as you're missing the majority of bidders, whose gonna specifically search for 1971 and camper. vw volkswagan classic t2 camper van campervan westfalia Danbury that would get all those searches as well.plus make sure you fill in manufacturer and list in correct section.
Plus @Geordie I think that's a bit steep- no offence mate, you can put a reserve on an auction, I would test the water first.
You should start again with your ad. Look at other bays on ebay and check out their ad title and descriptions. I would place your new ad in the Campers, caravans and motorhomes category. that's where most of them are. Your title should contain at least VW T2 Bay CamperVan or camper van, so it would appear on searching. Look at the other ads up there and try searching for them to see how it works. If yours does not show up with a search, then nobody will see it. You are asking a lot of money for your van, so provide top class pics and a very detailed description, to justify why its worth that sort of money. As said, I would either auction it with a reserve or at your 26k with offers.
Yeah don't re list it until you have your advert spot on Proper key words that people search for (people need to find your advert) Then a great description of what makes your bus so good (You need to get their interest when they see the advert) and why they should come and view it: EG Viewing essential (Call to action - you want them to do something after they have seen the advert)
@Geordie . It`s a lovely van and no offence mate but the ad doesn`t do it justice ... Take @paulcalf up on his offer of writing a listing for you - he could sell coals to Newcastle , and probably has Just my tuppence worth and good luck with the sale
I think its a bit of a buyers market at the moment. I think we agree its a nice van and should sell easily, but your asking price is only what you think its worth. Be prepared for possible buyers to see it for much less. Decide what your bottom price is. It will help you to look at all the ebay ones in your price range or less, say 15k to 26k and see what they are offering. Also look at the vans on other sites like gumtree, carandclassic and preloved in that price range. Good luck with the sale.
You're photos are good but you have the same picture twice. And you need to take some more photos of the engine bay. And the undercarriage . Kinda important to most . Fill up very picture possibillity ....top,sides! Etc..that being said. Beautiful bus.
