it's a sacred space.. keep me sane equally as much as this does.

id happily pay any subscription due to the help of everyone on board here.

i would not be where I am without the critic's pointing my errors and leading me on my way.

I’m very happy that my contribution went to the Suffolk&Cambridge blood runners even though I’m unlikely to need their services, I’ve had plenty of business from this forum over the years.
Id be happier still if it went to the continued running of TLB as it is.

 

..I will be more then happy to chip in 20 quid to keep the forum running ..don’t like the FB in fact I removed myself from it some time ago

What about doing one of those ‘Gofundme’ type things where you set a goal of funds to be raised - in this case cost of running the forum - folks who want to donate can and if the target is Reached the money is used. If not then the cash is returned.

But, you do know there are free hosts out there for forums right? You don't have to host the things yourself.

Trouble with go fund me is that go fund me take a cut. The chances of anyone who is not in the forum paying to a go fund me for the forum is unlikely.
I would suggest best way is to have a thelatebay bank account , post details on here and ask people to donate what they can afford . The sooner the better even if cash isnt needed just yet , then theres a reserve when needed, tlb keeps 100 percent of donations .
I am not a fan of facebook but if needs must then so be it , maybe its my age but i find Facebook difficult to use.

 

Happy to contribute.....it's part of my daily routine.....I'm getting old, I like routine.
