To be fair, it was a Woolworths level plan, not a Marks and Sparks or even an aldi level plan...

Not sure that "carry on as we are; everything's great" constitutes a plan (unless of course everything's great; which it clearly isn't).

  3. Ok so whats the plan now?

    1000% agree.

Were we suddenly at war, they would be expected to stay, this is no different.

The plan that we had over the last 40 years has'nt worked for over half of the country, we just had a vote that proved that

First we have to see if we're actually going to instigate article 50...

  7. Whos going to do that?

  8. Sorry this could go on indefinitely. There isnt a plan. Noone wants to deal with the issues. Its all very worrying as if we dont get it together there will be no confidence in the uk from any quarter and were all screwed. Cmon wheres the leadership. You guys all voted for this but had no idea what you were voting for because you were lied to. All along the moderates said there wasnt a plan. There isnt.

  9. It may have done. It was a vote for the future of the country. No vision just... No! I understand the sentiment but you suckers lapped up the jingoism and we nt for the negativity aimed at the eu when all along there were no plans as to the way forward. Why did you vote for this? We may well have screwed out future indefinately and it was all lies and "project fear". Now the fear has started to become reality . You voted to f**k up the country and our futures on some anti
Establishment notion. Now the establishment doesnt know what to do.

  10. I would suggest you voice your concerns to your local mp.
A camper van forum won't be able to answer your questions.

And the "we told you so" rhetoric will help how?

  12. Im sorry i thought we had been discussing this on here for few months already. You may have made the odd comment yourself if i recall.

  13. apologies. I thought those who voted out may have actually had an idea as to why they did and that might actually have been a plan i didnt know about.

  14. Yes we discuss it. Your coming across as having an angry rant.

  15. buy euros ;)

  16. Unfortunately, we are now left in a position of limbo with the decision to delay Article 50 until the Tories get their Marmite together. As far as my business goes, I'm fine with the vote, but I'm not fine with the fact that nobody has a clue what to do next. I buy from the EU and sell to the EU and have no idea how this will work in the future and when any changes will happen. In the meantime, I'm cutting costs where I can, shelving taking on an apprentice and see it as likely that profit related staff bonuses will be lower / non-existent.

If we leave the single market, part of my business will move to stay in the market, Scotland or Ireland.

I think that many businesses will think as I do, and the longer the uncertainty lasts, the worse it will be. A speedy exit is what is needed to keep the economy moving with a proper EU trade deal to stay in the single market like Norway. Of course, as @Moons says, the price for this will be free movement, but that won't go down well as immigration control was promissed by all of the Leave campaign.

I fear we will be entering a long period of political stalemate and maybe more than one general election in short order. Business will suffer if that happens and jobs will be lost. I hope the Leave lobby still think it's worth it at the end of the process.

I think you'd find many of them had ideas why they voted out. You might find them unpalatable but that's irrelevant.
The result was announced what, 50 odd hours ago? Give them a bloody chance.

  19. Will do. Euro poloiticians were all over it on day 1. Quite a difference. Possibly as they had planned what to do!

  20. It's fine though, what's wrong with the Country,I think its a lot better now than in the 70's and 80's when it was bleak and had awful cars.,TV's etc, we're miles better off now than we were then.
