i dont want a low paid jod. ive done them when they were all that were available to me. Dirty, dangerous, hazardous jobs which i still feel the effects of. My kids both work in low paid jobs, ones at college and the other at Uni. They aspire to higher things but are happy doing them. I dont aspire to them working in low wage, low skilled jobs but needs must at the moment.

No I'm quite happy, the newspapers at the moment are fantastic, so much happening, so much to try and digest and it looks like your lot are about to enter another referendum for Jexit.

 

I didnt ask you to re-read anything. I was stating that I had reread your comment and was answering what i thought youd written. Perhaps ive misunderstood what you just wrote.

In any case im solving nothing and if im banging on its because i always expected brexit to win tbh! Its just frustration as its been clear all along there wasnt a plan. Yep, sore loser but for a reason. Im not an anarchist nor overly anti establisment, nor a libertarian and had no desire to vote for something i thought would actually be harmful to my way of life. I dont think many of those who did vote out thought they were voting for that either.

 

Whats this you lot, your lot, your dave..... Explain. Do you actually have any position on anything or support anything or have an actual view based on what you read in your newspapers. I suppose your views are private and secret and well considered and deep and meaningful. Did you actually vote? Who cares.

We've all had low paid jobs (for the record £2.11 an hour as a security guard, 112 hour week bored crapless in 1992) just some of us didn't buy the message that that was our lot in life.

Low paid jobs are an important step on a journey, it's an apprenticeship as it were.

I nominate many natives simply choose not to take them. I nominate many older people that never climbed out of them were too idle to try or were happy not to as they didn't want the responsibility. Didn't want to move away.

Their choice.

 

£2.11, thats a great wage, I got £5 a week when I first joined the army, saying that it was after food, lodgings and"credits" were taken out which gave me £10 to spend on leave!
