  1. Hi,

I will take one of these off you as well if you are making them again?

I'd be after a late bay black face also.

    Do you require a deposit?

    Pm'd you also.

    Cheers.

  2. Hi , I'd also like to get a late, late Bay Black faced one, will they work OK with ECU, Fuel Injection, Electronic ignition ('79 Califonian 2l GE engine)?

    Thanks

  3. Hi Guys

New batch of black faced dials have been ordered. I will begin production of a new batch early June. The units work fine with Electronic ignition and fuel injection.

    Thanks

  4. I think id be up for one of these. Be a shame to replace the orig clock but it would be better to know just how much I was actually ragging my engine!

  5. Can I put my name down for a late bay black face one as well.
    Cheers

  6. "Electronic ignition and fuel injection." That's my kind of tach!

Put me down for a late bay model please and thanks!

  7. Got mine fitted finally, nice bit of kit. How do I trust it's accurate?

I wondered this... i guess you have to get a timing light with a rev counter on the back, check the idle speed and adjust the tach accordingly?

  14. Finally going to install mine at the weekend! Want to pick up the wiring on the way home tonight - what do need (sorry instructions at home)?

it's 16 gauge American wire standard.

for the record, Maplins do not sell anything that matches this, i got their 16A figure of 8 cable and it hasn't given me a problem..... yet.

  17. Would like one of these. Not sure if it the colours on my PC but the late bay tachometer looks very black compared to my 1975 dials which seem to be greyish. Have they faded over 39 years? Mine definitely are not the early ones with smaller disc in.

Mine are grey.... 74-75 model year only.

I bought an prototype bay version without the center bezel

  20. Sorry if these are stupid questions! Looking at the instructions - do I need to wire it via the alternator rather than the coil? My 73 Westy has an alternator (not a dyno).

Also, does anyone have a photo of the diode fitted to back of the gauge? Can't quite understand how it's supposed to be folded and fitted.

    Cheers,

    Paul
