Are they grey faced guages? I thought those were only used for 1974 model year? My November '72 has this style:
mines same . i think older wipers like someone on here had for sale are more suited maybe , my springs are quite tight , too tight really .
Odd again, someone said they had them on early bays and not our year and then put them back on late bays., Not sure about the early ones having them as I can't remember them on my early.
So the '73 model year (August '72 to July '73) has the same two tone grey style clocks as the early bays as mine does, then they went to all grey ones then the black later 70's one have? This one (all grey) is date stamped 2/74.
Good point I never knew there were two grey types. But those are the same as the ones I sourced for mine. can't be certain on the year fit tbh.
Just noticed some odometers don't have the trip clock. Was that an option? Our wiper stalks have the English text on them. RHD, Dec '72 build:
It is rubbish if it is of no interest to you, I am interested because I think it would be nice to establish the facts once and for all. the thread got sidetracked for while for which I apologise for. I will try and get it back on track, but I am quite angry about it at the moment.
i have those, but no hole in the door. exposed seems, petrol flap, triangular that opens on front doors.
Mine is October 72. Lock (not working) on slider handle, fuel cap behind pixie door, early (more expensive) headlights, early fuel sender (not working despite getting a new one). Not sure what else as I'm on the bus and too tired to do thinking.
