It was 450 miles.

 

I used 1,5 tanks of fuel for the trip

 

2.0l twin carb, Westy Interior, not hanging about, thats sounds pretty good to me @ about 23/24 mpg assuming you used 80-90L of fuel. Unless anyone thinks different....?

 

Might have been a bit more than 1,5 tanks,say 1,7? Didnt really pay attention to fuel economy,i was just enjoying the drive.20 mpg is about the norm maybe?

 

I sat at say an average of 65 mph.Denmark and Southern Sweden are very flat,i also sat behind lorries that were doing a good speed,sort of slipstreaming them,not to close to them though.

 

Time to change my avatar! Suppose people might have noticed i removed the funny sun shield thing over the windscreen,what are they called anyway? Had to go because i could not see through it,some homeboy might like it?

 

20 mpg is all I ever expect to get.

I reckon i got about 21 to 23mpg,i will check it when im taking a trip somewhere and the fuel guage is working.

 

It's a good quality aluminium sun visor & they are sold new at quite a price on flea bay. I'm going to auction it for charity. What would you like any money it makes to go towards?

Its got the westfalia name and logo on it,i think it is original? When i slept in the van there was no condensation on the inside when i woke up in the morning. It works,just not as pretty as normal windows
