Good luck Clive I hope you have a safe a trouble free journey on the other side.

I remember when you first joined asking people to look at motors for you and thought it was some sort of wind up.

Needless to say I'm glad you've now got a bay and remember your not initiated until you have a ride on the big yellow bus :)

Good luck fella, looking forward to the rest of the story and pictures :)

@vanorak, He didn't want to sleep in the warmth of the boat. He insisted in kipping in that old van.
& we gave him sausages for tea.

  15. It was tempting to sleep on the boat but i just had to sleep in the camper,i must say it was ok and surprisingly warm.
That double glazing works! No condensation on the inside of the windows,im quite proud of my double glazing.lol
Its proper westfalia kit too with logos as well.

  16. Well its 8:15am and just had a good breakfast and several cups of coffee, feeling ready to drive now.
Its a bit rough seas and quite a few people are sick,im ok because i work at sea.
I noticed they guided my van to a corner of the ferry with no cars behind or in front of me.They also used cargo straps and sea fastened her well so all should be ok.The parking brake is working very well so im not bothered.
The Irish guy in his Hillman is seasick and is worried about his car in the queue with the regular cars,he mentioned his parking brake is not really good,i tried to calm his nerves by telling him that the guys probably chokked his wheels as they know about old cars etc.
