Fantastic idea - straight into it!!! I know the kids are used to you being away but bet they were even happier to see you As for an adventure in the forest making food in the bus ..well they will instantly love it! Make sure you post some pics!

 

Great thread. Didn't understand the bit about sleeping in the van rather than the boat until I saw pics. Hell of a trip.

Im not sure,i will work it out,why you want to know? Thinking of viking summer camp?

 

Once i set off from Derby and the leak was almost gone(no smoke in cab just a few drops after parking)i settled in and gained confidence in the van again,i enjoyed the drive home,very nice strong motor,just some leaks to fix and a good tune up and its good.It was good weather ,just a bit windy going over the bridges from island to island in Denmark.

 

The more you mention it the more I fancy the idea. However, vegetarians are renound for returning hungry from scandanavian countries! Will make sure the vans well stocked lol

 

I love "tacking" in the van - its great!
