    Mike Hailwood. I met him at a book signing, his minders had to drag him away, as he decided he’d rather talk about the TT with me than take any notice of his schedule.

    He was also brave enough to drive the Porsche 917 at Le Mans, although it didn’t end well.

  10. Anyone remember the International Naked Mud-wrestling Finals between Anne Widecombe and Dianne Abbott? That was worth watching. Dianne was ahead by five million points. Or was it five :thinking:?

    Lawrie Smith - one time Olympic sailor.
    When he decided whether to choose horse riding or sailing as his sport, he chose sailing as that's the only Olympic event you can start a race with a fag in your mouth and still win..
