Whats your best guitar solo record of all time

Just watched this and really enjoyed it thanks.

 

This thread has been an education for me, it's gonna take a while to go through all of them but I'm hearing good music which I've never heard before. I must have been living under a rock while I was in the RAF.

 

Unsurprisingly no mention of Gordon Giltrap yet, one of those geniuses you will have heard without knowing it.
You tube , Fear of the Dark or Heartsong or loads of other stuff.

Excellent thread with some great music. Had to dig out my Rainbow Rising CD and turn the volume up to 11.

Hard to say which is may favourite but must include Yes - Going For The One, Rush - The Trees, UFO - Doctor Doctor.

One guitarist that I unfortunately did not to see live but must be up there is the late but great Gary Moore.

 

He was on at the Dent Music and Beer festival - unfortunately his set coincided with beer at £1 a pint

 

I wish I'd have gone even more now!
