  1. Wow the cynicism :eek::)

I dont think its fraud but then maybe my view of humanity is too rose-tinted.

  2. Seeing so many going missing lately on FB etc, does make you wonder if it's insurance jobs.

  3. Yeah I've got one too, it is abit of a struggle getting it in position and then I can't get the padlock through, think I'm gonna have to get the grinder out.

  4. Et tu gooner?

Is this a symptom of the tory times we live in - the cynicism , not the thefts

  5. Security ... I took the engine out and never replaced it ... up on ramps covered in dirt has put most people off.

  6. If I lived in a town, I would be worried about my camping stuff being nicked out of the van, but who really wants to steal a complete camper?

  7. No it's the product of living in the real world.

  8. Yes but some people just steel stuff and at the mo campers are in vogue- not sure why as I think ringing cars these dys is a lot harder. But just stripping out spares may make it a livihood for some "people".

The number of times the trains were screwed going to london with people trying to steal the overheads; those morons in Harlow(or wherever it was) who stole a Henry Moore statue and got like 100 quid for it, all the pot hole overs around us a few years back grrrrr.

  14. Do you have a standard size wheel?

I thought the steering wheel was too big for a disklok?

  15. I have put a 17" wheel on - original wheel is over 18" (?) and just slightly too big for the large disklok.

  16. Ah right.
    Cheers

I've got a wheel lock, but would like something else.

  17. I have faded paint, rust and the back end up on stands a lot of the time.....seems to work great lol
Its rural around here though...car crime isnt all that prevalent, if somethings been nicked here its a hooky owner after an insurance cheque I imagine

    Oh, and most importantly, insurance.

  19. I use a large baseball bat attached to my hand , anything moves in my perimeter gets knocked for a "six". Oh and chains immobilized, and doesn't start most of the time ;)

I've got the latest digital transponder technology that they use in the aircraft industry, it's proper cutting edge.

They guy I bought it from works for Malaysia Airlines and sorted me an excellent price.
