Camping as most of us I assume are outside types.
Watching videos of people walking around the lakes made me realize how much I'm missing walking in the hills.
And I know this sounds very first world problems. But not going to the Alps snowboarding for the second season is killing me not for the drinking or hollibobs but just being in the mountains blue sky days and fresh snow.

Last band I saw was supergrass almost a year ago this week it's a good job they where ace

I have completely blocked snowboarding out of my mind... this is the one hoilday a year a can't miss and this year it's gone :(

We went early January last year, so at least we haven't missed two years - i feel for you!

We should maybe see if @Terrordales can get us a TLB discount for the southern hemisphere snow season!

    Now that's an idea.
We where booked last year but I made the very unpopular and right decision to can it off. The Alps closed as we would of been out there so a right decision.
This year it's a no go even if they open up it's not right to be so selfish as to expect flying into Switzerland then onto France.

The mountains can be reclaimed by mother nature for a year it won't do them any harm .

Oh yeah I'm missing going to dirty cafes and having rubbish food and bad service when I'm at work out and about.

We only managed one day on the slopes in March in Italy before the resort was shut down and we were sent home.
UK Gov should have blocked travel way before and not told us it was safe to go out.
Only half the group of ten caught the virus! (Luckily I didn’t!).
Just crazy, Milan airport workers wearing masks and temp scanning, while us Brits just pile back on the rammed plane and disperse back into the community on return to Gatwick like normal...

We’re just looking at next March (2022) now. Some resort hotels are so desperate they’ll give unconditional refund guarantees on any advance bookings for 2022.

  5. All my hobbies have been affected. Going round Vw shows buying junk, I’m an avid trials rider but all ACU activities are suspended so me and the kids would be out most weekend in the winter, I’m hopefully going to be able to use my jet ski in the warmer months all behind well, it could be worse though others have lost there lives so not all bad in the grand scheme of things.
