there's no way i'll have a meter until they make me, they reckon 2 adults only i might save a fraction.... i'm willing to risk it looking at some of these prices!

  8. France owns our water company, i dont see why we should have ta pay for it !! it fell out of our skys not theirs. Installing collection tanks n filter is the way forward. They dont like it up um ??? :)

  9. £42 a month with Welsh Water no meter, hosepipe on the go all the time, 4 kids someone in the house most days kids have a bath every night. More water here that the Titanic has seen. :)

  10. Next year meters will be compulsory, which no doubt we have to pay to have fitted. At 180 odd quid a quarter that is day light robbery.

At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!!

  16. There making meters compulsary??

You know you can have a meter fitted to the waste side then just drain the waste clean water onto the lawn, My Brother has one on his bakery as all his water goes into the bread and you pay something like 60% for removing ect.

  18. They are starting with new builds/purchases and new rent agreements and as of next year they are bringing in compulsory through the board

  19. Just had a look at converting that into litres, and 61 cubic meters is 61,000 litres

That is not right dude, you've been emptying the reservoir if that is the case

  20. Our water bill is about £70 per month and I think that's horrific. We have a 9 year old autistic boy who is obsessed with water - flushing the toilet, running taps, playing with the hose etc. Costs us a fortune, but Anglian won't give us any credit for special needs because its means tested.
