I just bought a film for my brother for Christmas. We used to love it when we were kids & watched it so much that we knew every word. I haven't seen it for about 25 years, I'd love to watch it again. The Car:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Car THE CAR (1977, trailer) James Brolin
Lars and the Real Girl watched this last weekend, its a few years old but it passed me by when it came out. with Ryan Gosling as a young man who orders a real doll and it becomes his girl friend. the small town he lives in all accept his relationship in order to help him find real love. its not rude or stupid - but a really heart warming story and very well done.... 7/10
Last night we watched - 'The Woman in Black' - very jumpy and spooky remake of the Gothic horror novel.... I enjoyed it, nice to see a horror that doesn't rely on blood and guts. 8/10 'The Dictator' - A bit of light hearted, satirical, silly fun with Sacha Baron Cohen. I laughed and cringed in equal measures. 7/10
Started to work our way through the BFI top 100 films of all time, there is some real rubish to wade through. And thay missed off the greatest two movies ever ( in my opinion) These involve car chases ,stunts , a young Sally fields, yum yum, a kenworth a transam firebird and even an elephant. Smokey and the bandit ,1 and 2
