  1. Dark shadows - Johnny depp

    Absolute rubbish

  2. TED..... Hilarious.

Wel worth a look. If you like family guy you will love this movie

  3. Watched 'The Sweeney' last night...... not going to win any oscars but I enjoyed it, well worth a watch

  4. God Bless America.

The man in this film is my hero!

  5. I watched AMERICAN REUNION yesterday ... the latest in the American pie series ...

It was actually really good, it had the magic and charm of the first film with a bit of maturity on its side.
Most of the cast from the original film were in it and just worked

  6. Scott Pilgrim vs The World - really enjoyable and stylish!

  7. also , try David bowie in "the man who fell to earth " but avoid the american release , they cut THAT scene out (why???) and another goodi "the piano" >>avoid " blue velvet" one very sick film , i feel ill if i ever hear the song of same name !!!>>D. Hopper , ! in an interview he said " i am Frank!!!" like .yeah? sick sick and sick some more !!!!

  8. Le Havre - great new film by Aki Kaurismaki - it's a Finnish film in French.

Watched "Ted" in the cinema, but i don't like that "haha i farted, cake in the face" type of humor, it's cheap comedy.

  9. Last week I watched NOWHERE BOY ... the film based around the teenage John Lennon.
It was a good movie - never realised what his life was like when he was young ...

It's not a happy film - but it is thoughtful

  10. The memsaab hired out that 'Salmon fishing in the Yemen' the other night..... I didn't enjoy it, rom-coms ain't my bag baby! :(

Not sure whether it has been mentioned already as I haven't read the entire thread. We watch a brit flick the other day called "Clubbed", a couple of years old but I cannot recommend it highly enough. What a great film.

  12. We just finished The Guard - brilliant movie and has one of the best opening scenes I've come across in a while

  13. Tyranosaur - A grtty drama and a great film.

  14. i watched Crazy Stupid Love at the weekend.

a very clever (romantic?) comedy ... with Steve Carrell who I think has become one of the best actors out there.
    very much recommended

  15. Birdy

    Birdy Not Child Friendly

I've ordered the "Shark Attack" trilogy this weekend after seeing a clip on YouTube. It looks dreadfully bad and I'm hoping it really is. IMDB website doesn't rate them very highly so it looks promising :)

  16. Clockwork Orange, what a load of Marmite, thats two hours of my life i,ll never get back

  17. O r a n g e

  18. watched "heat " again , on tv last eve , still great > "clockwork orange " > brill ! (imo)

  19. The Dictator With Sacha Baron Cohen, quite a funny film, and about as politicaly inccorect as you could posibly get .
Can,t see your average American seeing the funny side of this film.
