I was talking about more space at grill n chill with others ,it doesnt bother me too much once i camp as i just litter the site with my wearz, n put a brolly over bits i dont want to get to wet or just to make it look like a pub beer garden but i thought of maybe making a mez platform on straps to put stuff on under the pop then when i put the poptop up it moves out of the way in one ^-^, cushioned on the bottom just incase i bang my head when leaping about in bed ???

sorry havent read all 3 pages.. dont cut a tin top? why not? its yours and do as you please with it and dont worry what others say. have you owned a pop top before? if not have you considered possible cons like noisy, cold, leaky, if you have a garage it might be too tall to fit in etc etc if you go to the shops and back or just for nce weekend drives then keep it a tin top if you regularly camp out and use it loads then cut a hole in the roof.
I had this dilemma.I found an unsuspecting caravan and did a swift reversing manoeuvre !!!!! Seriously.I would add a pop top to the vehicle that you love ;D
