  1. Your quite right I used to work for a large carparts company and am perfectly capable however doing this on a mobile phone, with my big fingers would take months....if you read what I typed before spellchecker you'd understand

  2. Tried website see above/below reply.
Not too worried about missed parts.

I'm self employed if I told everyone to price there own parts I'd be unemployed lol

  4. Screwfix have a catalogue and website and they still seem happy enough for people to ask for products by name at the till.

I would imagine the current climate for parts suppliers has been very profitable, what with ever *****er sitting at home buying parts for their projects . A lot of the main suppliers seem to be out of stock of loads of things, especially blingy bolt on tat at the moment... every cloud I suppose.

Sadly, I doubt they will miss your order, as someone else would have put another big order in while you where corresponding.

Email them with a long list of parts (from their website) and ask them to price it..

  7. Actually I do, at their request, its easier for both parties as they sort discounts/deals and email a quote, its also easier to order as I give them the quote number and pay!!

  8. Obviously they won't, it was a message from Justin the owner, he's obviously paid for the yacht!!

    That makes no sense whatsoever.
Why would they ask you to email them your order and avoid their multi-million pound ordering platform? Unless of course the manager is on the take.

  10. Its a service they offer the trade

I use all the suppliers for different reasons and it’s very rarely if ever price based, I want the right part , did you ask them to price it orrrr did you place an order and ask for a discount at the same time, it’s time consuming if it’s just an enquiry and I can see why they wouldn’t

  13. C&C have always been very helpful to me, they have answered emails to make sure I was ordering the right parts for my crossover and just recently they had a 15% discount, which I took advantage of, in fact the website didn't apply the discount when I made the order, I contacted them and they refunded me. So no complaints here.

  14. Haven't seen him down the marina much recently :D

  15. It was phrased as an order, which it was. Didn't ask for a discount as theyre already offering 1.

  16. Lots of places are quiet

  17. This possibly speaks volumes! Are you a complete cock or just working towards it?
