Ill join the club when my bus is painted ive chosen a non dub green though and the first time ive seen a picture of it in the tin i didnt like it

Pretty sure it's gonna be one of those colours that dries slightly differently to its liquid form!!

 

I sure hope it does change when its actually on a panel and dry as it looks awfull in the tin

 

often solid colours do look pretty bad... might have to do a test paint, as that colour has 2 different paint codes

 

Yeah a test panel would be a good idea

 

Para, that is a proper National Trust Green. You ought to get free parking if you paint your bus that colour as they won't be able to see it if you park near a fence.

I think it looks proper tasteful actually

Its a landrover colour called keswick green it hopefully should look like this when sprayed and dried

Is that the paint codes you used to get it mixed paul?

 

Yep... colour in tin is 799... just depends if there is a toner difference between the 2 codes

 

I think it looks lighter than the landy para! I think you'll find it'll be fine sure Paul wouldn't paint a colour if he thought it was awful.

That's why I only got 1l of said paint... wanted to play it safe as there was 2 possible paint codes

I've got a panel prepped this afternoon which I can lay some green on to see what it's like
