Bought a twin outlet nose cone for diesel heater and ran 2 separate 42mm pipes directly to the windscreen vents
Car been back on the road for nearly two weeks now. Not finished but useable. New heater system is brilliant. This was me just getting in this morning after putting heater on then going back in house for a cuppa.
That’s what I need to crack on with and get that heater fitted. Might just finish sorting the brakes out first. My brakes have turned into a bit of a marathon slog. Having a heater must be fab. I’ve got one for my van but not fitted, I have one in my Zafira but don’t work. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,the list gets longer and longer as I get slower and slower
I bet that's proper toasty! The main problem with stock heating is it takes a little while to come up to temp; luckily mine lives in the garage so I don't have to defrost. Once up to temp the baja is almost too hot and, as I cable tie my heating open, can only be regulated by cracking the window or quarter light!
Took advantage of the ramp at work. Pumped a load of wax oil everywhere then topped the lot off with under seal. Can’t wait for warmer weather and I can start on the interior
Started fitting the stainless steel body trim. Very nice quality but sadly the bonnet strip is too long. Only waited 3 months for it to arrive
It was a lovely sunny day so I drove home with the roof down. Just getting the feeling back in my lugs now
Still using the bug as my winter transport so I’ve just given the poor thing a good clean. Its scorchio up in Newcastle today
