    Yes. Never seen them driving but they’re always in different spaces so must get used. Very original condition

  6. Only just read all through this.
    Think carefully about relocating the stuff.
    The 1303 uses the spare wheel as part of the car’s crash protection.
    Especially considering you drive in snow.

    Know it’s been a few years, but may want to have a rethink

    LOVE 1303’s.
    Had a wonderful German Look 1303 1975 rack and pinion.
    Does yours have rack and pinion?
    Love the square cut later hoods as opposed to the earlier curve cut.

    Yes Barry mine has a steering rack. Nicer feel than the box especially as the ones I owned back in the day were always well worn.
    Good advice on the safety aspect but I’m not going to crash and those American style bumpers could take a tank out ;)

  8. Interesting then that the US ones didn’t have the indicators in the bumpers.
    They did here in Australia.
    Do you know what the UK R&P 1303’s had?

    I think the early 1303 had wing top indicators then from 1975 went to bumper indicators
