    Fitted a combination of 2 relays to light the sidelights upon opening of the cab doors, the sidelight switch overrides said relay.

    They then work through a 60 second delay relay so never burn the battery out.

    Tried out the roll over jig, but nervous at first but was amazingly easy in the end, looking forward to getting Matilda’s undercarriage cleaned up ready for next years adventures [​IMG]

    After fitting brake master cylinder, decided vacuum pipe to servo looked dodgy, so changed for some reinforced plastic hose... now wondering if it needs to be "special " hose ( started a separate thread.
    Tracked oil leak down to dipstick bellows, was about to fit Vitron one I've had a while and suddenly wondered if I'd end up covered in oil .... I'm sure I didn't drain the oil last time .... or do I ?

    Hoovered out yet more sand. I wouldn't mind if I'd had a hot sunny extended camping trip on the beach, but I guess I should be happy that my window apertures were properly prepped before the paint was done :rolleyes:
    Need to refit the polythene on the cab doors, and then the door cards, furniture etc, before dumping all my camping gear back in.
    Is there time for one more camp before winter.............?

    Just my apertures. Top half white paint done (0range was done after welding a couple of years back); needed a couple of small welds in window corners, but really nothing much. I guess the sand blasting just made sure everything was right before the paint.

    I guess something like having your cab light fade out 10 seconds after you shut the door. I had a thing that did that but water got in it. It was quite natty while it worked. :)
