Tried a few years ago, admittedly LED technology moves on apace.

 

Started on the rear end brake system.

 

Just a fancy fuel pump relay.

 

Can’t say it wasn’t a brow-mopping intense day!
There was the distinct possibility a measurement could be 2mm out

Guess what...tanks are empty...what’s the betting when each are half full that 2mm comes back to haunt me and I find myself decanting tins of peas & tuna from the case and trailing them behind me on a string!
*mental note - must get magnetic banner made up saying “Just Married”*

Made labels for my fuses

And having given a couple of coats of Rusto to the inside of the grill, I refitted it with new stainless spire clips and screws

Took him for a romp down to Bournemouth and back yesterday. Fired straight up, never missed a beat

 

Kays fasteners for the spire clips, Andrew. I ordered a selection of sizes for stock. The screws are a box (size 5 I think) I had left over from a previous business - button head, stainless, security torx, 15mm. Same ones for fuse box and front grill.

Bit of trouble getting the liner started...

Interesting watching it swing with the tide. It turned through a full 90 degrees.
