Used it

 

Fitted automatic extinguisher. Fitted it to hatch so it's not in the way when working on the engine

 

Bought it a present of a new battery, it was so grateful that it started first time.

 

Driven her, without any problems - then coated in wd40 ready for winter!

 

Nice idea, is that one of the ebay jobbies?

 

Got it from simply extinguishers it's a halon gas jobbie (FE36)? if it goes off It can be refilled and there's no clean up unlike a powder.

 

Is it the 1kg or 2kg model you got?

Spoke to a dood on the phone and he said 2kg was too big for the size of the space. He was good and didn't try to oversell to me. Apparently the 1kg is overkill for a t2 engine bay by volume

 

Plonked this in my hole to try it for size.

Need to sort an Ariel, speaker and the wiring next

 

Worth wiring everything from the van (power, speakers) to an ISO radio connector, rather than odd wires, so you can just unplug the lot in the future.

 

It'll all we wired nicely, just haven't got around to it yet.

I've got this stashed away somewhere too to go with it

 

Fitted ahooga horn without having to drill a single hole in the bus. Hellish noisy thing!

 

Poured a full Macdonalds milkshake all over the pedals as it fell out of the cupholder when I floored it .

 

Not the bay, but our little Clio failed it's MOT today (need 2 new tyres, rubber boot on the rear sus, and a spot of welding). Can't overly complain though as I paid £300 for it on Gumtree.
Hoping it'll be ready for tomorrow, as I'm planning on leaving work at 3 to get a few hours in at the workshop on the van (hopefully get the bugger up on the rollover jig).

not me, but my re-conned re-con engine was put back in my bus today by my mate, running sweet can't pick it up till monday now, whoop whoop

 

Went for a pot noodle based picnic with the dog n fair wife.
