should I treat the surface rust spots and then do I wipe it down with white spirit or some thinners?

 

I painted Wiggie's front panel again at the weekend, so he is now blue like my avatar pic again rather than primer yellow as it's been for the past year!

I also fixed the damage I did to the sink lid - I had accidentally pulled the hinges off by closing it while something was in the way tuesday_wildchild

I forgot to get around to fixing the seatbelt bolt which had fallen off. tuesday_wildchildtuesday_wildchild

 

Fitted the new rear hatch seal, come on RAIN, test it to the maaaaaxxxxx

Finally routed and semi fitted wires etc for the split charge,.

Yeah 1 and a half jobs....MANIC DAY

 

That would have made it awkward to reach the terminals though.

 

It is a bit close, hopefully with a clamp on it it won't move.

 

Checked valve gaps as thought it was tappity when was out the weekend !!
Was all bang on bar 1 could just get the 0.7 through so nipped it up !! Need a service soon not touched it in just over 3000 miles will service it after this month will be around 4000 since last service then as loads of miles this month But oils still looks pretty clean "ish"

 

Just get the wheel well removed - I did

 

oil change, new filter and gaskets, replaced cigarette lighter with a double USB, fiddled with my shims till the belt stopped slipping!

 

Went to the tip after some serious bush-trimming

 

Its nice to see a dub earning its keep
