Police and security has to be paid for plus dealing with the trouble after or even during, you cant put a cost on that yet , not until it happens
Can anyone ever remember Thatch sounding remotely intelligent? I can't. Rather than engage in discussion she just blarted out rehearsed lines. If further questioned she just repeated herself louder and with a mocking tone. Thick I'd have said. Many think Dennis was the puppetmaster which perhaps doesn't bear scrutiny, but it stands to reason he had influence and I reckon she was simple enough to lap up this simple thoughtless thatcherism thing.
trouble? why would they be expecting that? *not very convincing innocent face* perhaps if they had a quiet, not-taking-the-*******-out-of-the-tax-payer, family funeral it would be better. i would donate a match
i always despair that seemingly nomal people voted for her lot, this lot and actually evrything inbetween but theres no real morality when your leaders tell you to be selfish becuase thats exactly what they are goinng to do and they wouldnt want to be seen as hypocrites.
i think that summation lets her off the hook. i don't believe she was stupid but she was nasty and manipulative. wasn't she coached by saatchi's and had voice lessons to lower her voice??
Her coffin should be hewn from coal, packed full with silver cutlery, white picket fences, carriage clocks and wasted dreams.
Yes I seem to remember she sounded like a reet common Lincolnshire lass trying not to sound like one before. I don't think it pays to put everything down to one dim person. They were "all in it together" and she was chosen as a good figurehead to confuse the population. First woman prime minister and all that. Women don't generally behave like Mrs.T do they? All the old ladies kept them in power while they raided their pensions and wrecked the public services they needed. Baffling that so many of the people she trampled on kept voting for her...
They'll be enough people eager to use their commemorative nails and stakes, fashioned from the last of British steel( best there is/was. More than adequate to seal a coffin) to make sure.
as her majesty's constabulary are trawling the t'interweb for pre-emptive arrests (thought police?) this may be of use to someone you know. just in case http://greenandblackcross.org/legal/keyadvice
.is it a national holiday ...the funeral then ....they ought to get her son to drive the hearse..he got lost on the Paris Dakar rally years ago. that would be funny, he driving all over the country with everybody in hot pursuit trying to stop him and he not a clue.
