I thought everyone had shiny well maintained buses these days hence TE being more of a party?

  10. Marmite is shiny when its fresh! Think most of em look nice. Mines possibly the biggest Marmiteter on the field tbh but while i do seem to mess with it regularly its never actually broken down in 28 years of ownership! Its probably never run right in all those years either.

  11. They may not be in as much of a state as a lot at techenders used to be
But they certainly are not all pristine show busses and a lot of spannering does take place.

it’s more ongoing maintenance and improvements rather than desperately trying to get a bus running good enough to hopefully make it back home.

It has changed since the old days but not in a bad way
It’s a lot more family oriented now with plenty of wives/partners attending along with the children.

  12. nicely put!

  13. mines a mismatch of absolute chaos and i cant fault it... did have to pull over on the way home and reconnect a spade terminal as the speed sensor became loose when i was playing under the dash... engine management happy again

Considering at that time I was asking it to tell me about Eurovision in the style of Jim Rockford, I was quite impressed with the answer.

  16. It was nice for me at the weekend overhearing the kids chatting about getting campers when they are older and what they would like them to be like.

Elusive how? Is he on here?

  20. Not really ... he exists in the shadows

In 2012 a crack type 2 operative was sent to prison by an on-line forum for a crime he didn't commit. This man promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Bolton underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a "soldier of fortune". If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire Vanorak!
