But that’s surely just the European version I’m guessing. We might, repeat might, get to see the original UK as it was before we were hood winked into joining up with the United European Front. We’ve always managed perfectly well before then, and I’m sure we’ll manage perfectly well once we’re out. Might even be nice to not be subsidising some one somewhere. Think it’s time for a bit of ass kicking and dead wood removal and getting peeps to actually do some work, just like we used too. And I’m not talking about sending little uns up chimneys, just doing some work for your keep and not relying on everyone else to feather your nest.

  4. Its clear now that Britain has moved on from the industrial background that spawned the socialist Labour movement. I had high hopes for Corbyn but I was wrong. The party needs to reform sharpish, it will only survive if it sheds the Momentum ideologists and moves back to the centre ground.

  5. Its been a bad few years and the country was fed up with the constant arguing, bickering and lack of positivity, the doom and gloom was dragging us down.

Its a new dawn, a new day and Boris has a substantial majority. Its clear he has won support and now its time for him to move us on, which he will do.

The EU is now clear who is in charge and Boris can now sort out Brexit.

Labour and Lib Dems and that Brexit Party have all take a bashing, good.

Time to move on now, we will see the Pound strengthen along with business confidence which will be good for jobs and all of us.

The Labour Party had a leader who was ineffective and not liked and I would expect Corbyn to resign now and the party to reflect and reorganise over the next few years, but I feel the Conservatives are now here to stay, the people have voted for that.

  8. ^this. Labour's been completely trashed over the past four years. I have my doubts as to whether it can be fixed, unfortunately.

  13. Hopefully Corbyn will resign now. Until he goes the Party will not be able to reconstruct itself.

They did a job on him because they saw the threat. It’s class traiters that should be brought to book, the ‘ I’m alright jack brigade’ not Jezzer. In time they may regret voting this lot in, but then again they’re too thick skinned to realise it was their fault they got what they voted for.

I’ll be waiting patiently for them to fulfil their promises.
