I may have got too excited and ended up making a small fleet of key rings which are all available to purchase! Currently available in Westy Orange, Westy Beige and Baja style, but I have a huge stash of fabric so am happy to do one to match your car. £10 each so drop me a message if you’re interested in one of the colours I currently have in stock or want a bespoke colour making up.
Lisa’s full width bed, side cushion and buddy seat all finished up today in this fantastic white and candy pink vinyl. They’ll look right at home in her pink van. (@Jason Price this is the interior I mentioned that'd suit your van )
@Ian Bell ’s late bay seats all finished up this week in the ever popular rainbow pinstripe with a nice beige vinyl. I ended up doing a fair few repairs to the seat frames, with one of the bases having a cracked frame and broken spring, and one of the backs having two of the fixing spikes which had snapped off. My new (to me) spot welder makes light work of attaching new spikes.
I’m delighted to be able to finally to share these pictures with you of the seats I’ve been putting together for Marc. Reupholstered in real leather with a stunning Harris Tweed Houndstooth fabric, these Cobra Classic RS seats are destined for Marc’s Porsche 914 that he’s currently building. I can’t wait to see them in the finished car.
I sold a set of T25 seats a few weeks back to Wayne. He asked if I could reupholster his RnR bed cushions to match, so here they are in GTI tartan and black vinyl.
Carlos’ last edition beetle seats reupholstered in a classic blue vinyl as a nod to the original look this limited run of 300 cars had (his is number 80). Powdercoated frames for that OEM look. I’ll be doing a set of door cards next to match.
Thanks mate. I've struggled for time this month to be honest! Once the garden room is built I'll have a bit more space for doing this as building seats up on our conservatory floor isn't much fun.
Door cards for Carlos’ last edition beetle all finished up over the weekend. Design to match the seats and door pockets for all those little trinkets.
It’s always nice to have returning customers happy with the quality of my work that want some further items upholstered for their camper. I did Rob’s late bay front seats and RnR bed last year and he asked if I could do him a 7 door card set to match. This warm combination will look great in his van so I can’t wait to see it all fitted.
Lisa has been busy kitting out the interior of her recently restored camper and has now fitted the cushions I made for her earlier in the year. They look perfect in there with that pink piping really catching your attention!
Another little job ticked off for Ed’s patina prototype bay. He recently had a custom bike rack built by the VW Rack Shack and wanted some padding added to protect his bike. I’ve made him up a nice padded protector made with real leather so it’ll age nicely to match the rest of his van. This was near enough impossible to get a decent picture of so apologies for the camera work here!
I’ve now setup a Google business profile so I’ll appear in Google Map search results when you look for classic car upholstery. If you’ve had work done by me in the past, and have a few spare minutes, I’d really appreciate a Google or Facebook review as it’ll help me out greatly.
Some more Porsche 914 goodies for Marc’s ongoing project. A pillar trims wrapped in leather to match the seats and door cards I’ve done for him.
3/4 width RnR bed cushions all finished up for Kim’s prototype bay. A classy combo of grey GTI plaid with grey vinyl.
The old air-cooled VWs often came with a tool roll to house some of the tools you might need for any roadside repairs. With Christmas not too far away I’m looking at putting together some items which would make some ideal stocking fillers so here’s a prototype of a tool roll and matching keyring. What colours and designs would you like to see? Are there any other little items like this that you’d be interested in? Perhaps I’ll look at doing a little giveaway if folks are interested in one? Let me know your thoughts.
https://gowesty.com/search?q=Tool organizer these are cool and would be nice to have one for later bays - they go behind the wardrobe cabinet
Oh nice! I'll add those to my little back burner list as I wouldn't mind something like that for our bay to go in the same spot. I currently drive around with a massive halfords advanced tool set but it's complete overkill for the bus!
