  7. The PSA test isn’t an exact science but if the results show you have a high PSA it will definitely get their attention. If it is slightly high (for your age) then they should at least give you an examination.

Well treatment all finished. Blood test taken last week , telephone call today from oncologist, all good PSA down from 5.2 to 0.05.

Nah - I'm kidding....great news though - you never know how much these things play on your mind until that moment after you walk out of the hozzie into fresh air, and breath again.

  14. My second post prostatectomy blood test shows PSA<0.1. Happy with that.
@Huyrob, are you having 3 monthly PSA checks over the first year?

Yes , on an amazing tracking scheme. My reading post treatment was 0.05. Last test a week ago was 0.07. Told this was entirely expected as body has started to produce testosterone again..

My best mate Keith who some will have met at last TE goes in on 19th for a prostatectomy. He decided that route suited him better.

I thought that link was to book but just info. I’m glad there is a picture showing penis and testies otherwise I might have been a tad confused.

I feel I could do with a MOT. Guess I’ll need to look into it and just have it done privately.
