i have been told these are good but i have'nt tried them -

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HHO-Hydrogen-Generator-2-Cell-Complete-Kit-Dual-Edge-MAP-Sensor-Enhancer-/260978594938?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc389547a

i know people say you won't get anything for nothing re fuel consumption etc but if you run a leisure battery easily enough off the excess created by the generator then there's plenty for a trickle charge into these .

The basis of creating hydrogen is , you drop a negative and a positive 12v feed into a jar of water , this seperates the molecules and allow hydrogen to escape - it burns clean and is a almost endless fuel supply ,you reshake the jar and hey presto you have more .

The downside of it is storage and as its such a light gas it escapes easily . but it is the future .

  3. Sorry mate but that looks lethal, may as well strap a bomb in the back of the car.

  7. I wouldn't want a couple of glass jars with screw on plastic lids, it would have to be properly sealed units. hydrogen is lighter than and therefore susceptible to leaks.

  8. All this talk of Hydrogen, might i just draw your attention to...THE HINDENBURG....buses i believe are already susceptible to spontaneous motorway combustion. Shoving H[sub]2[/sub] in as well displays a remarkable lack of respect to The Darwin Awards. You can see it now. Group of buses in a circle, people drinking alcohol, smoking fags, around a camp fire...hydrogen leak...BOOM!! Still the resulting cloud of vapour will condense and put out the fire eventually...

I'll stick to good old petrol thanks!
I have a great philosophy when it comes to petrol in the van: fill it up, drive it, fill it up again. Works every time!

It is on the possible mod list , love to hear from someone who has tried it though.

  15. It would be a good idea but as I said before I would want one in a completely sealed and proven safe system with emergency relief valves out to the atmosphere, away from the engine.

Eventually we will have to start looking at H2, battery, gaz or some other form of power source once the price of oil reaches a climax. Which I can see happening in my lifetime.

if you think about it C ,there really is just a miniscule aount of hydrogen hanging around , if the glass broke you get water and the hydrogen would just escape gone - not enough to light a fart .

  18. As joker quoted,

    First gear = 0 - 9
    2nd gear = 9 - 18
    3rd gear = 15 - 31
    4th gear = 24 - 50

    I don't change gear at those speeds, but I was wondering when you lot change gear? I always thought the engines preferred to be revved higher so I change more like;

    First - 0 ~ 10
    Second - 10 ~ 25
    Third - 25 ~ 45
    Fourth - 45+

Am I riding her a bit too hard? ???

  20. EVO magazine are running a new California on long term test at the moment. Latest reported mpg = 32. OK, they're going a lot faster than a T2, but pushing a brick through the air is never going to be truly economical.
